Come on, Al. It's got everything to do with Obama. The present administration is providing the momentum for it all. Actually, it's highly doubtful it will ever become law. So many of these laws get everybody worked up but never come about. But it's fun discussion, anyway. In the case of PA, most of the laws passed have no clout since the state can't afford to enforce anything.

I agree ,,,when "he who walks" was campaigning he spoke of banning certain weapons,,now the kings men are simply able to take advantage of this now.
It may or may not be enforceable law,,but they will push it as far as they are able,,and once it starts they will all jump on the wagon.(in my opinion)

Sorry for the vent yesterday, I haven't been that pizzed in a long time, certainly not that fast.

It's a long story, and most of it wouldn't make sense, but a doctor's office that doesn't like dealing with Work Comp insurers or their nurses finally found a way to keep me out of the office when my patient is being seen. They emailed a claim examiner and claimed that I was insisting on attending with the patient, then was a no-show twice. For that reason they were requiring a hugh prepayment by the examiner before I would be allowed to attend.

The examiner then emailed my boss and stated that he was cancelling my appointments and stated that I was uninvolved and irresponsible. That was the message I found after the birthday party yesterday, my boss was asking what was going on.

I spent the rest of the afternoon pulling my documentation from the past 5 months, showing that I was there when they claimed I wasn't. I also pulled a report that showed the huge number of hours that I have logged on this file. My boss, fortunately, is backing me up on this, but the damage has been done. I am blocked from attending the appointment (by one of my own people), and the clinic now doesn't have to see or talk to me. All because of allegations that have proven false. They can't exactly refuse to meet with me per WC law in this state, but they can get it by being underhanded. And a green examiner played right into it by acting before he verified the facts.

I left the birthday party early so I could come home and get some reports done. Instead my DD comes home to find me in the middle of this insult-fest and on the verge of quitting on the spot (something I've never done). Now I am working on Saturday to do the reports I wanted to do yesterday.

Rob, I'm sorry thast people suck. it just seems like some people just try to look for things to make other folks life miserable,,and it sounds like thats exactly what they intended to do in your case. And you know what I say, as long as your boss has your back, pizz on'em ! Course that don't help you much now,,,,,,,but some day that kinda crap it'll bite them in the butt.

I just get tired of petty politics that reduce healthcare to this level of corruption, ego, and greed, while the patient sits in pain. My boss is hands-down the best manager I have ever worked with, and I've told her that before. right now she's the only reason I didn't quit. I don't want to leave her in a bind.

This might put the debt the US is acquiring in perspective. Debt as a % of GDP is a really good relative measure. While this is not good, the slope will level out since there was a huge recent expenditure which will not be repeated.

You forgot to include the ONE TRILLION DOLLARS the Obama administration just printed the on the 18th of March, 2009 while were all distracted about the AIG B.S..

We just printed ONE TRILLION DOLLARS of our own money to buy our own debt so that we could pay for this administrations pet projects such as Healthcare, Crap and Trade etc... MONEY WE DO NOT HAVE!

Again, we just MANUFACTURED ONE TRILLION DOLLARS and gave OURSELVES and I.O.U. for this ONE TRILLION DOLLARS.

This has NEVER worked in the History of the WORLD but this administration did it anyway.

This is some serious stuff. We are heading for a downfall the likes this Country has never seen. This administratins spending has got to be stopped and stopped now.

It is scary, but it began before Obama - history doesn't lie. Also, as a % of GDP we aren't near what the debt - relative debt - level was post WW II. If you look at the chart you can see clearly that the last three republican administrations increased the debt drastically - setting the stage for what's happening now. Get over it - the republican party has a lot of blame in this too.

This mess has been caused by both parties.

BTW it does include Obamas stimulus package.

Al, you really need to quit apologizing for Obama. This will be all on him and the Dems.

I'm was not talking about the Stimulus or the Omnibus bills or packages. This in addition to all that pork and usleless spending. This was done nice and quiet on 3/18/09 while we were not looking. Like I said, add another trillion to that chart and then some.

What gets me about Obama is not the people who are against his policies, I don't like most of them either - it's the name calling and the refusal to admit that others are culpable too - the republicans are just as to blame with this crap as the democrats.

The reason I posted that graph was not to point fingers at anyone but to show that the level of debt is much lower than in previous periods of US history.

The huge spending during WW II is what brought us out of the great depression. Many economists believe that the biggest problem with Obama's stimulus package is that it is too small and won't provide enough of a push.

I honestly don't know, and neither does anyone else. Right now, Obama and his party control the government because people became disenchanted with republican rule - and don't say it's all the democrats fault because that's bull. During the last two administrations, republicans controlled congress 12 out of 16 years. If the democrats are all to blame then the republicans are totally incompetent for letting them do so.

This is the last political post I will make on the Camping Board. Just call me Molson.

It is so un-surprising that people who have hated Obama still hate Obama. It is so un-interesting to see the new ways such folks try to make mountains out of molehills, turn triumphs into turmoil, and distort reality into fantasy. You can tell that President Obama is making headway against the damage done over the last eight years by just how much silliness comes from those who initially feared and now actively despise his administration.

Someone please wake me up when someone who actually supported Obama express some concerns about what he's doing. That will actually be something worthy of being posted, and perhaps even discussed.
