Revival of the angry thread!

I just called the front desk. I wanted to inquire about a few sites I'd like to have when we check in Wednesday. The "bimbo" who answered the call (1) kept repeating that sites aren't assigned until you check in and (2) refused to connect me to someone who is actually at the front desk.

I've never been refused to be connected to the actual front desk before!

I wished to ask for one of the pull thru sites & to inquire if they will be vacant when I check in. If so, I would go over early Wednesday, check in & make my request for one of the sites. I've never had such a rude person on the phone before. She actually said (sarcastically) "Have a magical day." AS SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! I never even raised my voice or anything - I just kept asking if she could connect me thru to someone at the front desk! The Fort manager on duty is gonna hear about this one, too! Disney is really scraping the bottom of the barrel in who they choose for CM's these days.

This is funny that you wrote this, last week I called FW and had a question and the person on the phone refused to connect me with checkin and hung up shapely leaving me feeling like a fool!

I'm all for the rope idea!!!!!!

As of this morning, one of the pull thru sites was empty. I'll post again tomorrow am (after we come back from DTD) and let you know the status.

If they're not too busy, maybe I can coerce them into at least giving them my site number!! We have a prefered site. Is 800 open yet? If not, I'm going to give them my "list" of sites, explain how I was rudely hung up on, and go for a site I want!!

I'm beginning to think Jen is rubbing off on me. Your message was to call back IF we could come over. I didn't want to break your heart by calling and saying we couldn't. The offer is still on for this weekend though. If you want to pitch a tent on our site, we're good with it! I'll even have coffee ready for you in the morning. How can you beat that?

There is still one pull through site open. The 800 loop is still closed but I can't see anybody working in there unless they are way in the back. The 400 loop is closed and is full of trucks and workers. You would think they would get the 800 up and running first before they shut down another. However there are still a ton of empty sites. 700 loop was only 2/3 full. 1700 and 1900, which are now preferred, are really empty.

We are in for some BIG changes. That's for sure. I think he's gotten a pass from the main stream media for a long time. They sort of walk on egg shells around him. God forbid they might offend him or Biden with real questions. I read about his campaign freezing out the news station in Florida that asked for direct answers to some important questions. Biden got all pissy and asked who wrote the question. As if the woman anchor wasn't capable of thinking of them herself.
Only..honestly the media should have been doing this all along. The Saturday Night Live parody where they asked the actor playing Obama if he "wanted a pillow..and was he comfortable"...really has been the case. In my opinion.
