Revised early entry/extended hours '05?

I was reading on mousesavers that Disney is changing the early entry
to also include some extended hours after normal parking closing.
They apparently had tested it earlier in the year.
Does anyone know how this was structured? Any Comments?

February hours are out, too and Wishes is NOT every night!

I'm bummed cause I made PSs for our 10th wedding anniversary at California Grill and it happens to be a night Wishes isn't scheduled.

I like early hours rather than extended hours since, IMHO, more people do/will do extended hours than early entry. I have loved having the park almost to myself during many of the early hour days (probably a reason that they are going this direction, LOL), but I am sure we will use the extended hours and it is a nice addition.

For those that tried the 3 extra hours test in May, did it Cost extra$$?
I don't want to change PS until I know more info.

Our family loves the idea of th3e extra 3 hours we will stay at the parks as late as possible we always avoid the early entry park as it was never truly limited to resort guests in any way. We have doen E ride nightas and it was great for 10 bucks but this sounds like it is a freebie and you are required to show a resort ID to get the wristband which will eliminate many problems of non resort guests using the system.

I saw a thread a while back in which a poster said that when they dined at California Grill last, the grill wasn't dimming the lights and letting diners watch the fireworks like before because people were taking too long at the tables to watch the fireworks. (They had to leave the table to watch.)

A subsequent poster, however, stated that they watched from their table just fine and that this was NOT the case.

I wasn't sure if you saw the thread so thought I would mention it.
