Hey everyone! I'm seeing conflicting information - are there fridges or beverage coolers?
Yes, every room has a mini fridge in it.Hey everyone! I'm seeing conflicting information - are there fridges or beverage coolers?

So there is a chance we could be staying in a room that had a dog? I am requesting connecting room. So not sure I can make other requests.I always book a woods view and request building 80 or 85. We always got our requests ( more than 10 trips) I never seen any dog while staying in 85, but I saw and heard a few while staying in building 80, near alligator bayou. We stayed 2 weeks in room 8033, we all coughed and had runny nose for the entire trip, but only when in the room. None of us are allergic. One night the ac broke and they came to fix it, when they opened the unit there was so much dog hair, we had been breathing that air for over 10 days.
Yes, there's always that chance at any resort, room, category, etc as service dogs are allowed everywhere. So there is a chance we could be staying in a room that had a dog?

Yes, there are certain buildings that they tend to put guests with non service dogs. This is from the very informative portorleans.org site.Ok I thought someone mentioned that there was a certain building where they usually put dogs.
Ok thanks. I hope we are in the non dog area.Yes, there are certain buildings that they tend to put guests with non service dogs. This is from the very informative portorleans.org site.
If a guest booking cannot be accommodated in building 24, guests with dogs will predominantly be assigned to building 15 (Preferred Location) and the end-wing sections of Acadian House (80) or Parterre Place (95, for Royal Rooms). This should help maintain the rooms in other sections of the resort as relatively animal-free for the benefit of guests with allergies, etc.
Just wanted you to be aware that you could get a room that had a service dog in it prior in other locations.

thank you. I understand. I don't mind dogs. I just don't want a room where dogs have stayed. If you are especially concerned, get a note added to your reservation saying that you would like to be as far away from an area used by dogs as possible. But remember that dogs (well behaved and on leashes) are permitted anywhere around Riverside except for food & beverage locations and the pool decks.

ok thanks. I don't need deep clean. Just staying overnight. just looked at it from cleanliness but no problem. As has been pointed out, service dogs can stay anywhere. They are NOT restricted to the buildings usually used by guests with dogs. If it's an allergy concern, you should be requesting a deep allergy clean for any hotel you stay in, not just Disney properties. There will never be a guarantee that a service dog won't have been in "your" room prior to you being there.
I stayed in a Royal Room last week. It was not my first choice because I prefer the hard floors, but it was the only room available last minute. The room was very clean and quiet. I declined housekeeping. Excellent 4 night stay!Any new reviews of the Royal Rooms? I am reading mixed reviews on their cleanliness. Also, how loud are the external AC fixtures? Should we stay at a AB room instead to have the overhead fan? Travel is in February.

Enjoy!I just checked in online for our rooms. I had called for a request for connecting room. We are also arriving early. This is a quick overnight stay as we have family wedding in Orlando and thought we would stay here before we left.
