I've had trouble getting much time on the computer. Somehow my DH thinks his business should come before my DIS...can you imagine? Anyway before our meals fade further into my memory I thought I'd post mini-reviews of the rest of the spots we tried during our March-April trip.

Mama Melrose for lunch twice: Three different flatbreads, field green salad, calamari with a nice spicy tomato dipping sauce, soup. One day we had Ron who did a fine job, can't remember our other server but we always have great service here. We saw two of our favorites..Kevin and Dori. Food A, Service A.

Narcoossee's for dinner: Wahoo, pasta with shrimp, Chilean Sea Bass, soup. Food A, service maybe D??? I was dining on grilled cheese with DS2 in our room and missed this meal but both my daughter and husband complained about the server. We've been going to Narcoossee's for years and have always had fine service so hopefully she was just having a really BAD day. DS1 and his girlfriend didn't comment on the service but they see only stars these days anyway.

CRT for lunch: A tradition for us. Coachman sandwiches, kid's cheeseburger, beef barley soup. Love the salad that comes with the Coachman. Food A, Service A

Kona for breakfast: Think we did it only twice this trip. Mickey pancakes for DS2, Tonga Toast for everyone else. Food A, Service A.

Thanks for the reviews!

Mama Melrose's is on my list - I really want to try the restauarant, but never get around to it. I think I will try to make lunch a necessity on our next trip! The food seems wonderful. I've reviewed the menu over and over, as I am a fanatical planner!!!!!

I've only dined at Narcoossee's once, and the food was great - planning to return - hoping the service is good!

I noticed that you posted you have reviewed the food menu. Where might these be found?

Thanks.

Krisalee we've been going to Narcoossee since the GF opened and this was the only time the service was bad. I agree about the food...I don't think it has ever been better. I do miss having lunch there which use to be a must for us on an MK day. We would hop on the boat and enjoy a quiet lunch before heading back to the Poly.

We will be eating at Kona Cafe for breakfast on our next trip again. My wife just loves the Tonga Toast ( she even let's me have a few bites ). There coffee is very good also.
