I just wanted to see some general views on the Tiffany Towncar service. Does anyone happen to know the price difference between the limos and the towncars?

We will be on our honeymoon this coming trip and want to make it special.

Also, does anyone happen to know if they have AAA discounts? Just curious.

TIA,

Jodi

Not sure about Tiffany, but when I got the quote from FL Tours the limo was 2x the TC. I am guessing that Tiffany is competitive with that.

Hi, we've used Tiffany Town car the past three times at Disney- just this past November too, and the service has always been prompt, helpful, and courteous. We used their discount coupon on their website.

We are loyal Tiffany users. We usually get the van for our family of 5. Our favorite driver is Berkely Edwards, he only does vans I think. We just used them 4-24-May 2, 2005. I booked online and also requested a grocery stop at the hess mini mart for soda. Our flight got changed by 3 hours, we called them and they were promptly waiting when we arrived. Always professional and courteous. Only once we had a driver who was quiet and didnt talk too much, but he was also prompt and on time etc. We love Tiffany. We did take the towncar once. We were really squished, didnt realize it didnt fit us, but the 2 of you should have no problem.

Great to hear really good feedback on Tiffany. Thank you everyone for replying.

HUmmmm ....this makes one wonder!!! trolls all around today! :flower:
I have taken Tiffanys many...many times...and will NOT take any other!!! I happen to know first hand how "shady" some of the compation is!!! ;)

One should always check the BBB in doing their research. If you have a beef, then you have a beef with the BBB ????

It's anyone's perogative to ignore anything the BBB reports.

Are Trolls working for the BBB in Orlando or am I a troll for relaying the truth on the report about Tiffany ????

Is it "shady" when people choose not to answer complaints when contacted by the BBB ????

We always use Tiffany Towncar when we are not renting cars in the airport. They do a great job.

I've used them 5 times including last week and as usual they were great. On time, the prices are lower than another well known towncar company.

Didn't Tiffany recently get sold?

Yes, but I don't know to whom. There were some reports here on the DIS around the middle of last month of calls and questions going unanswered by the new owners.

Well, I am not a troll, but I personally would never use TCC because of the way people have treated me on the phone when I have called for rates. Quite some time ago I posted the following ....... (which is why I would never use TCC)

I have called them several times and the people that answer the phones are rude, hateful, short, unhelpful and sometimes just downright nasty.

I called the first time and some woman very hatefully, as if I had interrupted her sleep, answered "TiffanyTownCar" (one word). I asked for a pricing and she quoted something off to me. I had asked again for her to give me the pricing for a round trip fare on a shuttle to Disney's Pop Century from the airport and she rattled it off again and sighed. I said thank you and she hung up the phone without saying thank you, thank you for calling, we don't want your business, anything.

I had asked her to repeat it because it did not line up with what was on their website.

My mother-in-law had called me because I provided her with the website address. She said she called to make a possible reservation and the prices given to her were $30 higher than on the site. She requested pricing for both roundtrip fares to and from the airport as well as transportation to and from Universal Studios. She said that the woman she spoke to was very hateful and was aggravated with each question she asked. She did not make the reservation. (which I can kind of understand because my mil will ask you more questions than a 5-year-old)

I called them to ask them about the pricing as I thought I had more tolerance and the woman who answered the phone was like the one above, quick, one word answer, hateful, you name it. I told her what had happened and she said “then she did not call here,” I said she had to have because she gave me the number I just called. The woman then said, “well, then she did not know what she was talking about or she asked for the wrong thing.” I told the woman thank you, I hung up and I called other places.

The others may be a little higher in price, but for the lack of service and hateful attitude coming from the calls we made to Tiffany Town Car, I am willing to spend $50 more in transportation. Of course now it does not matter because we are using DME.

We used Tiffany in June '03. The trip from airport to hotel was just fine, but the return trip was a near-disaster. We were at the Grand Floridian and were out front about 15 minutes before our appointed pick-up time. Pick-up time came and went. When the car was 15 minutes late, I called the office and was told that the car had come but we weren't there. I told them we had been here for 30 minutes and no one from Tiffany had come by. She called the driver again and he said he was there now, still waiting for us. We could see no one. Then the woman on the phone said that he had left, but was on his way back and would be there in 2 minutes. We hung up to wait. 10 minutes later, I called again. She called the driver and now he was at the Contemporary Resort and said he had loaded up our family! We clarified that no, we weren't at the Contemporary and certainly weren't in a limo. This sort of confusion continued for 30 minutes. At one point, the driver actually drove into the Grand Floridian driveway and went right past us. I was on the phone to the office at the time and I could the woman yelling at the driver. It was insane. Finally someone showed up, we loaded up and left--no apologies. We arrived at the airport at the last possible moment to check our luggage and had to run and cut in line.

I'm sure this was an unusual case, but with so many limo companies, I will never use Tiffany again. This June, we are taking Happy Limo. Wish us luck!
