Did anyone get one when they were marked down? Or even before the markdown? How do they work? Good sound? I got one for my ds who is 3 and I am wondering if I should keep it. I have not opened it as of yet. Just curious of other opinions. thanks!
I got one when they were full price at Walmart for my DD who will be 3 next month. She loves it. The picture quality and sound are actually very good and really surprised me. Some people have said they can only watch one movie on it, but we have not had that problem with her's. She has been able to watch two movie length Disney DVDs on her's. We also went to Radio Shack since Disney didn't come out with the accessories yet and bought a car adaptor for it so she can watch movies when we go on long trips without having to worry about the battery.
We got one for $32 and it is great! My girls use our dual-screen player in the car for long trips but our little guy needed something different because he will be watching different stuff from them sometimes (although he loves Princess Diaries and Mary Poppins!). I like the fact that it doesn't pop up with the delicate screen/it is easy for him to handle. Great picture and sound!!!
Pleasantly surprised! At first, I shyed away from this player because of the small screen. For 32.oo, I figured...what the heck. I am actually amazed at the clearity of that little screen! I like it because it fits well in my 7 year olds' hands and seems made well for little ones. I little more durable than the average player.
I haven't seen this. We have a larger one that the kids share, but I hate all the fighting. I'm thinking it might work to get 3 of these and let my husband have the bigger one to himself (going to be away a lot in '06 and will be taking it anyway.). Just how small is the screen?
Thanks for the product reviews - we are putting ours away for Christmas so it's nice to know that the screen (only 3.5") has good clarity - anyone else find them before they were gone (went very fast in NY)?
