Reviews of Same Day MK Dessert Party?

Anyone have any reviews of the Wishes Dessert Party using the same day reservations that recently opened up? Curious how crowded the dessert area is, how crowded the reserved viewing area is, etc. Also wondering how tough it is to buy the tickets (i.e. do you have to be there at 10:30 am to get a spot, or are they still available into the early afternoon)?

We did not go but on Saturday or Sunday they were selling tickets still in the afternoon when we walked past and there was no line (the last looked bored actually). I also noticed a sign up at Columbia Harbor House advertising the event so perhaps it hasn't picked up yet.

Well, let's see. You used to be able to get that viewing spot for free (with FP) and now a few weeks later they want, what...... $59?

Not sure we are going to want to do it or not on our upcoming trip - but since we didn't book an ADR for the party (and can't get one now) we thought we might look into this.
