We went to Planet Hollywood for dinner on a Wednesday night. It was crowded, with waits for parties of all sizes, so I was glad I had a PS for 9PM.

We started with the Chicken Crunch (chicken fingers breaded with Captain Crunch cereal), then I had the L.A. Lasagna and Charlie had a Classic Cheeseburger (substituting bread for a sesame seed bun, since he is allergic to sesame seeds).

The food was OK, not great but not bad. Neither of us was wild about the Chicken Crunch (it was kind of dry, and the coating stuck to my teeth). My L.A. Lasagna was OK, and Charlie liked his burger.

I'd read the restaurant was noisy, and that's an understatement. They have a VJ talking as well as loud music. It was fun, though, and Charlie really seemed to enjoy the hustle and bustle. We also enjoyed the memorabilia.

Atmosphere: A- (if you like loud, colorful places)
Food: C
Service: B+

we enjoyed our lunch at ph when we were there... it was quiet except for the music as the place was nearly empty! kids LOVED their oreo shakes!

We actually don't mind the loudness or other aspects of their atmosphere. We just don't like the food. I don't think we'll be going back there.

Thanks for your review!

I was happy with my vist there last August. I loved the party atmosphere. I had a burger was was very good. I was surprised because I heard some negative things about the food. My wife had a salad which she enjoyed and my daughter also had a burger. I always laugh when people talk about the noise level. This is the way it's supposed to be. If you want a quiet dinner this is not the place, if you want a fun place go and check it out.

I could tell you the worst place I at last August was The Sci Fi Diner in MGM. Avoid that place like the plague. If you must go stick with a burger and nothing more. The food was horrid.

Perhaps I was disappointed in the food because of our vegetarian options at this restaurant. I was hoping to get a pizza when we went because I really enjoyed PH's pizzas. But when we got there they told us that they took out the pizza ovens and no longer offer pizzas. My alternative meals was not so good.

I'm sure all the other options were tasty....but I won't be finding that out anytime soon.
