Review on new Mary Jane Crocs!

Love, love, love them!!

I ordered the new black Mary Jane Crocs from the Journeys website. They came in the mail 3 days ago. I have worn them all day for the last three days. Running errands, in the house, working a 12 hour shift at the hospital, and walking around on some land we're looking at to purchase and had no problems!

They are as comfy as the Beach, but so much nicer looking!! Just wanted to let you all know how great this new style is!

Since they don't have all the holes did your feet get really sweaty or was it ok?

They were fine. They don't come down as far on the top of the foot. All the normal holes are there, there isn't "shoe" where the missing holes would be (if that makes any sense ) So that part is exposed anyway.

Thank you for the review, I have the athens but don't really want to wear open toes in WDW in Dec. Most of the other crocs are not too attractive but I like the way the Mary Janes look. I will definitely have to consider buying these now that I have heard positives about them. Thanks again

I really like the looks of these from the pictures I saw. I found the cayman style to be too wide for me. The MJ's look narrower. Can you tell me if they are narrower than the Cayman style?

I don't have the Cayman, just 6 pairs of Beach and a pair of Niles. The Mary Janes do fit a little "slimmer" than the Beach (but not a lot) they do make my feet look small, which is not what you normally see with Crocs.

How do you think these will look with shorts on? We're going in October, and I'm sure I will be wearing shorts during the day. I have a narrow foot so I"m thinking these might work better than the Beach ones. Thoughts?

I just bought my first pair of Crocs today, the Mary Jane style. I got them at the Journeys store in my local mall, which is the only retailer carrying them. So far, they're great! I seem to be sort of in between sizes, so we'll have to see if they work for me or not. I do like that the Mary Janes are so much slimmer and lower profile. VERY cute. They also fit me better than the regular Crocs, where I was even more in between sizes. The Mary Janes have numbered sizes, unlike the "medium", "large", etc. that the regular Crocs have. I think that's why they fit me slightly better.

I am disappointed that they don't come in more colors, though. I talked to the staff at the Journeys store, and they said they guessed more colors might come out later if people like the style. They also said they thought other stores would probably start carrying them in the future too.

I tried on a pair of the mary janes at a journeys store in my local mall as well. I think they are just DARLING!!! Really cute on your feet!! I mean they still have that crocs "clunky" think going on, but if you are going wear crocs anyhow, that won't be a big deal. They fit much narrower on the foot, so I don't know how walking around for hours might affect the blister factor. Also, they felt EXTREMELY stiff to me...the footbed that is. I put it on and it felt like hard plastic. Of course being crocs they probably were just cold from the A/C and needed to warm up to get that smooshy feeling, but even beach crocs feel pretty soft when you put new ones on.

Overall, I think they are really cute looking...definitely an alternative to the clowny big regular crocs! I'll be interested to know how the Mary Janes do after a vacation in Disneyworld!!!

Now, has anyone tried those ballet flats?! I'm DYING to hear how those feel!!!

Just got a pair at the mall yesterday at Journey's and already love them! I call them my Crocky Janes and they are extremely cute! They are less clunky than the originals, but I find there to be a bit less toe room--the toe box isn't as wide (or clowny) and comes down closer to the toes than the Beach model. Haven't done any long term wearing yet, so will report soon!

Man, and here I just bought a new pair of Beach's in purple for my October trip! Now that I know they have THESE cuties, I'm gonna have to go to the mall and check em out!

Oh, if only you could see my credit card bill for this trip....
