Has anyone read The Healthy Guide to Walt Disney World? Did you use it at the world? What did/do you think of it? I hae Passporter and UG but was on cloud nine when I saw another potentially fun disney book to read - and this one could be healthful too? I am on Weight Watchers too so I'm wondering if between WW and Passporter/UG the Healthy Guide to WDW won't have anything new or useful?

TIA! :goodvibes

I haven't heard of this book, but am interested to hear what others have to say.

I also want to hear about this book, I can't believe I never heard of it.

I have to say though that with some pre-planning I find it very easy to eat healthy at WDW.

I think from time to time this come up on the restaurants board. You may want to check there also, or even repost this thread there to see what you get.

I haven't heard of this book but need to get busy on trying to find it.

I read this awhile ago, and I for one, did not like it. It had basic information, that I already knew. The author would say things like bring your own snacks and water bottle. It's a great idea for a book and was thrilled to see this on the shelf. But, I did not like this book, nor, would reccomend it.:goodvibes

I was so looking forward to getting this in the mail. it came today, and after 5minutes of flipping through, I put it down and was very frustrated. it had vague info on healthy things to do (drink water, eat fruit), generic disney info (refillable mugs etc), and only a small section that was actually about healthy menu choices at WDW. And in that section, it was just common sense.

I was expecting nutrition info, etc. Instead it would list a restaurant and tell you they had salad and chicken options.

I hate to bash a book but this one really was not worth my $. And it's unfortunate, because I think it is a great topic.

HTH.
