We had a party of 10 that was seated very quickly at a large table. Our food was promptly brought to us. Unfortunately, the children had rode stitch that afternoon and the chili effect had made them nauseous. So, the smell from the Grill made them sick. The server was quick to bring them whatever kids food they wanted. They each had macaroni and cheese, two of the 3 shared a hot dog and fries as well. The green beans here were okay, I liked the salad very well. Family reports the wontons were yummy. The meats were very good. We did have a little difficulty with getting steak that was done. Most of the pieces brought to us still bled.. BLECH! I like my steak well done. My mother and father reported the shrimp to be excellent. Bil didn't like it, but we found out later he didn't peel it, just ate it whole. YUCK! We sat in the middle but still had a beautiful view of the castle and water. My children had fun participating in the coconut races and dd liked the hoola hoop contest. It was a great meal, I think I overdosed on pineapple and caramel though! Any questions?

Thanks for the review! I've been on the fence as weather or not to go back to O'Hana. I'm glad your crew liked it. Tell your BIL I'll remember to PEEL the shrimp :scratchin

Thanks for the review. We will be eating at O'Hanas for the first time in a couple of weeks , so I was glad to read your review.

thanks for your review..we finally were able to get into ohanas while we are there....its good to hear they will bring the kids stuff to eat...sounds like a fun place to eat...

Yes, our waiter told the kids he would get them anything but pizza.. and did so quickly. It was yummy mac and cheese too!!

Thanks for sharing your review !!! We'll be eating there for the first time in 3 weeks!! I'm curious about these games they have for the kids, do you have to be picked to do them or can the kids just join in ?? Thanks for your help !! :Pinkbounc

It seems to me that this is some of the problem with this restaurant, it must be very hard to satisfy everyone's taste with the meats. I found the meats, (especially the steak) to be way overcooked and dry, and have since givin several bad reviews. But it seems there are people that prefer it that way and would prbably give a good review.

I would have loved my steak to be still juicy and red !!

I agree, it's hard to satisfy everyone's likes about their meats. I just can't eat meat that is still bleeding. I know some people enjoy it that way. To each his own.

The kids were all asked to join in. ALl the kids got up and just joined in the fun!

Thanks for the review. I can't wait to eat there next Saturday night. I have a question, did you still have to pay the kids price for the buffet even though they didn't eat any buffet food? I have a DD3 who might like mac and cheese instead.

I have to pipe up in favour of O'Hanas.. While it is not the most romantic of venues (plenty of big tables and always packed!), the food whenever we have visited has always been delicious. Like tlev I generally like my red meat to be red, and would prefer the steak to be less well-done, but everything else is soooo tasty (especially the appetizers- the chicken wings and wontons are fabulous, you gotta love those free refills!) that I could not complain...
Great view of Wishes.. :cheer2:

We were just there a couple weeks ago and yes we did have to pay the high price for the mac and cheese that my 4 y.o. took 2 bites of.

Thanks for the info PlutosFriend.

They only charged us for the kids meals they ate.. the mac and cheese along with the hot dog and fries. It was 5 something i think for a bowl of mac and cheese. I was glad to not have to pay for the buffet price per kid.. I would have done it, but I was glad not to have to.
