review of sunrise safari??

We are trying to decide if we should change our reservations to concierge so we can do the sunrise safari (there are currently openings). We have a great rate of $124 now at the AKL (standard view; we have already stayed a week with a savannah view). So I'm looking for opinions and thoughts - thanks! Oh, one more questions - about what time do you enter the park after the safari and breakfast?

about what time do you enter the park after the safari and breakfast?

When we went, we got to Tusker's around 9:30 for the all you can eat breakfast buffet. Some people left around 10:00. Just about everybody was done by 10:30.

Basically you're already in the park. That's why they collect your admission media at the concierge desk when you get to the lounge in teh morning. You have to use a park day on your pass to take the Sunrise Safari.

When you get done with breakfast, you can just wander out into the park to enjoy yourselves. Oh, and they gave us a Fast Pass to ride the safari ride again after breakfast. We didn't want to, and handed our passes to a couple who looked like they were on their honeymoon as they walked up and saw the hour long line. Spreading the Magic

Oh no! I didn't realize you had to use a day on your Park Pass to do the Safari. I had hoped to do the safari on one of our non-park days.

Thanks for the info. I'm afraid we may have to miss the safari. I was so looking forward to it but we have other things planned for our Tuesday and Saturday. I think those are the only days the Sunrise Safari is offered.
