Review of money-making techniques learned on Budget Board

Receipt Pal (cashout for amazon gift cards) Shopmium, Mobisave, Jingit, Punchcard, Cartsmart, BerryCart and then Target Cartwheel (I shop there too often) are ones I use in addition to those mentioned.

I get the same problem with our Walmart. Their walk-in sensor is in the back of the store, not at the entrance like it is supposed to be. I can walk around that area several times before it registers. And like you said, reporting it does absolutely no good.
Macy's has been the one I can't get. Still I've earned over $200 in 14 months so I won't complain. But there aren't as many points as there used to be.

I also use ibotta ($5/month or so), cartwheel, ebates, and savings catcher. I've saved about $500 with savings catcher in 11 months, but most of that was when they were doubling.

I definitely want to check out the apps after seeing a lot of people doing pretty well.

Swagbucks is my go-to, and it's true that you really need to work at it. I have a lot of free time during the day, so I'm on there constantly. I've been using it since last October and earned over $800. That goes directly into my Disney fund. I wouldn't get to go on my trip if I haven't been so darn insistent about it, haha. I have friends who I refer get so frustrated and I'm like, you just keep working at it.

I agree about Swagbucks. I have had an account for a year but didn't truly start working at it until January. Since then I've earned $200 plus an expensive appliance (home test). It was from reading the tips on this board that I figured out how to make it work for me.

Ok, tell me what I need to know about Swagbucks. I've seen people mention it on here all the time, but I don't know anything about it!!

Although this is a long thread, this is the best place to look for ideas and stuff: http://disboards.com/threads/those-using-swagbucks.3222525/
I stick to surveys for the most part, and depending, it can be really lucrative. They're more time consuming though. They have lots of small stuff too, and apps you can run during the day. There's so many options to earn, which is nice. Like I said, that thread is long, but it has great pointers on what to do and how to do it. :)

Can someone explain more about Perk? Is this a phone app, or do I have to use a computer?
You can earn money through their website (searches, purchases, etc.) but the easiest and most passive way to earn is by running their various apps. They tend to be more android-oriented but they have some apps that also work on iOS devices.

People who make a lot of money with Perk are running multiple devices (you can have up to 5 per app) and they are running them constantly. They refer to them as Perk Farms. However, you need to be careful about bandwidth caps that your ISP might impose. I have Comcast and they don't cap bandwidth.

I have several old smartphones (no phone number associated with them) running 3 different apps. I don't run apps on my personal cell phone. I redeemed twice this week for a total of $75 in Amazon GCs. The week before, I redeemed for $100. The program can be buggy at times, but they consistently pay out on Mon.-Wed.-Fri.

So you've never had an issue with Comcast? I also have Comcast and when I checked our limitations I saw this notice: "Enforcement of the 250GB data consumption threshold is currently suspended." Made me wonder if they would reinstate it at any time?

They lifted their data cap 3 years ago. I suppose that they could always reinstate it or even move to data tiers that are similar to what the cell phone companies offer. But they also have to contend with FIOS in our area. Verizon doesn't have data caps, either.

thank you for all this information. I'm going to check it out. Do you need a referal?

I mostly use mypoints, ebates and epoll. But I am going to check out some of the ones mentioned above. Swagbucks intrigued me, but I was not able to get it to work well for me. Glad others have success with it.

I've started doing Swagbucks again, after a looooong break. Just here and there, but it's adding up fast.
Ispos, MyPoints, and Opinion Outpost are still where I do the best.
