My husband and I recently got off the Dream, taking a 3-day cruise. We've both cruised with Disney before (as well as other lines). On Disney it's always been on the Magic. We were both horribly disappointed with our experience at Animator's Palate on the Dream (though we previously enjoyed it on the Magic). Our first issue with Animator's Palate was the noise level. We both love Crush, but the incessant talking and volume made it impossible for us to carry on a conversation with our table-mates without nearly shouting. It was absurd. Second, the menu was awful. You know you're in for a bad night when the recommended dish is a baked (seasoned) chicken breast. It was dry and tasteless. The best thing on the menu was a pasta dish that was an appetizer. Next time we cruise we will definitely skip AP and go to Palo instead!

Karen:

I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment with AP. Our experiences on the Dream, Wonder and fantasy have been really stellar. We're looking forward to the Magic in just two weeks. I hope our experience there is as good as yours was in the past.
