We were in DL last week and did both the Goofy's Kitchen Dinner and Minnie's Breakfast at the Plaza Inn and I thought I would give my review of which we thought was better and such.
Price: 2 adults, 1 child
Goofy's Kitchen for Dinner w/ AAA 10% off: $89
Minnie's Breakfast at the Plaza Inn w/AAA 10% off: $56
Overall we were very unhappy with Goofy's for dinner, even though this was our 3rd trip. Every single time we say we aren't going back, but we keep going back. This time really will be our last. We weren't overly impressed with the food, we all ended up eating from the kids area and the dessert lacked flavor. Here is what they had:
Prime Rib
Mashed Potatoes
Mixed Veggies
Some Chinese dish
Fried Rice
Potstickers
Some pork dish
Navy Bean Soup
Macaroni Salad
Ceasar Salad
Chicken strips
Macaroni and Cheese
Spaghetti
Pizza (peanut butter/jelly, pepperoni)
We only saw a few characters: Goofy, Chip, Brair Fox, Pluto and some prince (no idea who he was, even his autograph didn't reveal his identity???)
Minnie and Friends, food was really really good and character interaction was great, service was great too.
Made to order omlettes
eggs
bacon
sausage (vegetarian too)
hashbrowns
biscuits and gravy
mickey waffles
french toast
assorted fruit
assorted muffins and pastries
bagels with cream cheese
Characters: Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Minnie, Captain Hook, Chip and Dale and one or two others I can't think of right now.
Overall we thought Minnie's was a lot better, both character and food wise. Plus it was in the park so we didn't have a far walk. And a much better value for the money.
