This was my 3rd time at the Ca Grille. I went with my husband in 2000 and it was magical with the fireworks. Last October C and I were seated window side and also had great view of Wishes.

This time we were seated in the wine room on the opposite side of the restaurant. To be honost I liked it in here better as it was quieter. The only bad side was that wait staff kept coming in right next to us and opening the wine cooler which our table backed up to. We both started with flat bread. 4 Cheese I believe and then both had the Pork Tenderloin...very rich on my stomach (which was seemingly fine when we got there but a different story when we left). During wishes we went out on the overlook. Again I liked that much better than watching it from indoors..Much quieter. For desert we had the butterscotch creme brulee which I could have made my meal. Food was great A for food. Service left a lot to be desired. Our server reminded me of someone who wasnt very popular in high school with the beautiful people and was trying to make it up later in life. She schmoozed (sp) with the young beautiful crowd. Oh well...I still tipped her good.

Sorry about your server--I know the type.
And I agree that going out on the overlook is just as easy--and fun--as watching the fireworks from inside.
