Review 9/6-9/17

[Fast Pass]

Trying to post dining reviews for third time. Here it goes:


Concourse A+ food and service stellar. We had the Prime rib and the New York strip steak for dessert the Kahula cheescake.
CRT C+ food blech! Service okay,character interaction wonderful
Chef de France A+ food was perfect we had rotisserie chicken and duck.
Park Fare A food,service and characters were wonderful will go back again
Le Cellier C+ the food was wonderful but the service was slow had to get the manager to get our food. People were walking out of the restaurant.
Liberty Tavern Inn-A+ characters,food and service was great. Mac n Cheese wasn't so wonderful
Chef Mickey's went to breakfast instead of dinner and found that the food is way better than dinner and the characters have more time for interaction. A++
Concourse-loved it so much we went back another time. Ordered the Prime rib and steak again. A+. Steak done to everyone's satisfaction
50's Prime Time- We had cousing Joey. Loved everything about the restaurant. Went away very filled! A++
Ohana's-breakfast A++ will go back. The characters are the best at this restaurant. I loved everything about Ohana's especially the fact there is lots of elbow room in the restaurant.
Captain Jacks-A food and service was exceptional. We ordered twin lobster tails and ribs. The only draw back was that it was a little bit noisy but it wasn't too bad.

So glad you liked 'Ohana character breakfast. It is one of our favorites, basically for the relaxed atmosphere, and Mickey in that darn Hawaiin shirt! LOL!

I am surprised about the Le Cellier review. Did the service ruin your experience? Or was it the food? I am looking forward to lunch there next month, and am curious.

Don't let my review turn you away from Le Cellier. We could have had the restaurant during a bad night or our waitress could have been new or they could have been short of help. The food was excellent once we got it . Since you are going to go during lunch you probably will get a better experience. I won't go back to Le Cellier not due to the service although that was lacking but the lights in the restaurant are very dim and they are the kind that bring on my migraine headaches. The noise level was too extreme for me too. All the noise bounces off the walls making it unbearable for me. Almost all the reviews for the restaurant are positive so go for it!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you but my computer was playing stupid off and on all day.

We also LOVE O'hana's character breakfast. The family style is great and the food is excellent! It's our absolute favorite!

Sorry folks for the slow response. Like I said on a previous post we had to prepare for my brother and his family. They had to evacuate Sugarland,Tx. and came here and we had to prepare for their visit.


We went to CRT for lunch. I have heard that dinner is alot better.Next year we will try the dinner.

Which is better for breakfast Ohana's or Chef Mickey's? I think Ohana's. There was nothing wrong with Chef Mickey's but with Ohana's we felt more relaxed and we had more elbow room to move around. Our waitress was outstanding. When we gave her a ten dollar tip. She said that we didn't have to tip because we were on the dining plan and when we said we knew but we thought the service deserved an extra token she practically gushed with happiness and appreciation. She filled up the coffee about every time we turned around,made sure we always had food, she even took back some Mickey waffles because she said that they were not appropriate looking Mickey Mouse faces. She was so attentive it was incredible. I felt like she treated us like we were her family.

Uh oh, we're having lunch at CRT. We haven't had lunch there since it changed to a character lunch but used to enjoy it. What did you order?

We have extremely bad service at Le Cellier last time we were there too. Maybe the same server?

Hope your brother and his family arrive safely and that their home is OK. Things like that out Disney dining in perspective don't they?

For lunch one person had the Major Domo Pie and the other three had the foccacia sandwich. The Pie looked real good on the internet but when it is in front of you it just doesn't look too good. The taste wasn't the greatest. The sandwiches were filled with the kind of meat that you could find at our local deli. We were excpecting better qaulity deli meat. The people next to us had the salmon and they warned us not to order it because it was overcooked and very dry.

The castle is nice inside but the food was such a disappointment. Maybe the dinner menu is better. I for one won't do lunch again. Alot of people seem to love the lunch, my family and I just are not of the lovers of CRT lunch.
