la la today was really boring. Matt wasn't there so I hung out with Ian, Shawn, Ben, Vickie, and Tim. We only ran a mile and a quarter. I had a really bad run. Bleh. But, after that we went and did field sprints, which were a lot better because I can sprint for a really long time without getting tired. Then we played bombardment, which was fun. My team lost, and then we tied. Then we walked outside and I talked to a bunch of people. Which was fun. I talked to Megan for a really long time. I haven't seen her much since she's doing soccer. Oh, the highlight of my day!!!! When we were waiting for our coach, they had baskeballs out, so me and Shawn were shooting free throws and I made all but 1 in!!!!! Shawn did good to, but not as well as me. And I didn't know it{cause if I did, I woulda been wicked nervous} but Mr. H{the gym teacher} and Mr. W{the 8th grade basketball coach} were BOTH standing on the side watching me, and after I had done a lot in a row, like swish after swish, I stopped and just dribbled around, and I looked up and they were both smiling at me. Mr. W was like, "Wow Caroline, I'm really impressed...have you been practicing?" and so we started talking about that and then he hugged me and said he had to go, but to keep on practicing, and if I do that well in tryouts, I'm definatly gunna make the team!!!! He's SO nice, and he doesn't compliment many people. But he compliments me in basketball and he's always telling everyone how good I am at track!!! He's my favorite coach! {Ahh and I DON'T think he's hot anymore. He's just wicked cool!}

omg, thats what i did the past few days!!! but i do better when my coaches watch me, and i do way awesome {i wont now that ive said it} whenever luke watches me.....i'll suck around him now that ive bragged about it but i do better when im watched like that, but NOT in a game good job!!!

hola!! pretty boring day today..... i had heuser though!! we were all singing and we decided to make a demo tape and form a band called "Heuser's D Block History!" and give it to him and then he would give it to Jessica SImpson!!! LoL!!! he was like "so what are you all doing again?" and we were like "SINGING!!!" and he was like "if that's what u want to call it!" it was really funny...very had to be there moment....D block history rocks though!!! he said we're his funnest (lol) class because we actually laugh at his corny jokes and stuff.

urgh, i gtg do some dumb english homework for my super hard english teacher!!!!! i aske dher today how our tests were, and she said "a ocuple a's, a couple b's, but mostly c's and d's and some f's." i'm soooooo nervous b/c the test was so hard!!! and it was our first english test of the year so i REALLY hope i did well!!! ooooh but i'm soooo excited becuase i have retreat tomorrow and everyone who's gone says its a lot of fun!!! WoO!!!!!

today in coach brasher's room, heather gave me her last piece of gum. shady turned around and asked for a piece, but it was her last!! he jokingly said "y'all suck!!" and turned around. he turned back kinda around{sideways} and i bit half of the piece off, and offered him the other half. he took it, held up his hand, and said "you rock!!!", LoL!!!

well, i must clean for the party{if we arent blown away first} and for ivan{so some stuff wont get soaked/"blowed" away, LoL!!

omg. im seriously starting to get worried about Ivan....i mean, thats one big storm. he could actually UPGRADE to a category FIVE.....did you know that on average, hurricanes produce at LEAST TEN tornadoes at landfall??? thats a LOT!! We SHOULD be out of school Thursday....I hope we are....if we arent, i'll just have to make up my work friday night, because i am NOT going, and neither are Shelby and Savannah!!!

it's too dangerous...last year, we were in P.E. class, heather, kalyn, christina, and i had JUST finished the mile run when it started raining, then we got PAed....they told us to get in the boys locker room and get down. so we did, heather and i sat together. we didnt think it was anything serious. but then it got worse, rain got harder, and turned to hail, lightning was EVERYWHERE, it was way dark, then the fans went off...electricity was gone, im praying that my family is safe, along with heather's{we're practically sisters} then it got way quiet. everyone said that it was over, but i knew and had studied meteorology enough to know that that was only the "calm before the storm"....but the teachers obviously knew that too....they told us to get serious, get outside, dont look up, and RUN....so we did. heather and i were the first out, we shot off, and looked up....there it was...the beginning of a tornado, a funnel cloud rotating with lightning ALL AROUND it above the gas station only a few hundred feet from the gym.....we were running together, freaking out, but trying to stay calm.....we made it to the elementary building where the teachers were screaming "dont look anywhere other than in front of you!!! sprint into this building!!! DO NOT STOP!!!, and ran inside, followed closely by chris m. heather and i sat down where we were told to. we were worried about our brothers and sister, but werent allowed to get up and find them. so we sat there together, and stared, listened to the younger kids asking what was going on. we were updated, and our janitor was walking around with crackers, cookies, chips, and bottled drinks offering them to people, but we were too shaken up to eat. finally, at about 3:40, heather's pa-paw arrived, and much to my surprise and happiness, picked up not only heather and her family, bhut me and mine as well!!! as we were jogging to the gym, was came across coach...he said "well, i guess you figured out that theres no practice today," LoL. duh....i wasnt coming even if there was!! but we went to her ma-maw's and staye til my mom came and got me and my bro and sis. i was soooo scared when we were at school....at first, in the gym, we were joking about how it'd be nice to miss practice....and inside the locker room, we were laughing, and talking about how much the guys needed to clean it up!! then we were watching a funnel cloud come down not too far from us!! its amazing to think about now and thats just a tornado, not a hurricane AND a tornado!!!!!!

Aawwww!!!! Thanks everyone!!!!!! I was to sick to go to school...seriously, no lie. It sucks, my friends had me a "surprise", plus I had a speech AND weightlifting!!! I wish that there was some way for me to get there now, I feel better!! I STILL feel sick, but I DO feel well enough to go for the rest of the day I really wish I could go. But everyone's at work.....and I cant drive quite yet....ONE MORE YEAR....so i guess im stuck here at home, listening to Ivan reports and watching the weather change outside the other windows{i dont have windows in my room}....

I told you so last night, but I have to put it here too, to make sure people knew I DIDN'T forget

I'm sorry you were sick! That sucks! I hope you feel better. Oh my gosh I was listening to the weather, and they were like, "It's heading directly north toward Alabama" and I was like Wah!

But, on happier news. Cross country was lots of fun. And I have to start packing since we're leaving early friday morning for pennsylvania to see my brother. And I get to see my cousin who I haven't seen since...july!!

AND!!! I got my new running shoes AND flats!!!! The flats are SO cute -

and so are my regular running shoes. I can't wait to run in them!!
