Revenge of the Mummy Opening June 25

I just received a email newsletter from Universal. It says the Mummy opens on June 25. I was hoping to ride in May. Maybe there will still be soft openings.

WAIT!! I just reread it and realized the email was from Universal Studios HOLLYWOOD! So there is still hope!!

Yay, it will be open for our trip to California in August. It will be fun to compare the two rides.

June 25th is close to 6 weeks later than my visit on May 15th. What are the chances of a soft opening when I'm there?

BUMMER!!!! We will be there 6/5 - 8. Our last trip was just days before the opening of MIB. DS will be VERY disappointed! ME TOO!!

The June date is for Universal Hollywood not Orlando.

The Mummy will open in Orlando in May (according to newspaper and television reports here.)

Official date for Florida is May 21st. The June date is the same one that I received and that is for Hollywood. Currently they are running technical rehearsals but you never can tell whe it will be open though.

Haha. I'll be at Universal Orlando at the beginning of June, so just in time if nothing delays opening, knock on wood.

I know it scared me too! As soon as I posted, I read it again and realized that it was from Universal Hollywood. Sorry to give anyone any unnecessary worry!
