'Revenge' fans.... Grayson Global question

I'm curious... and I don't think it was discussed previously. (If you have advance spoilers, please do NOT share them!!!)

If William Devane's character is Victoria's father and he started the company... why is it called Grayson Global? In Wednesday's episode, Conrad even made the comment that "you made it Grayson but I made it Global" or something like that.

I don't get it. What am I missing??

He is not Victoria's father, he is her father-in-law. He just likes her more than Conrad so they have a close relationship.

William DeVanes is Conrad's father, not Victoria's. I know she called him Dad, but he is her father-in-law. L-O-V-I-N-G William being added to the show...absolute genious! He is looking good too! Conrad said the global part , apparently, meaning even tho his father started the company, he(Conrad) is the reason they are as large/powerful as they are now.

Some people do that. Like my Mom used to call my paternal grandparents Mom & Dad when they were alive.

I think Finfan meant to say father in law. I didn't catch that it actually said step-father the first time I read it.

Me too. she is doing a great job. Yet sometimes I see her sadness. I can't wait to she how it all went down to make her turn on amandas dad.
