Reusable bag savings

Here on the OBX plastic bags are banned in stores over 5000 sq. ft. Food Lion gives 6 cents a bag, so does Harris Teeter. Walmart and Kmart give 5. I take my bags to all the stores because I don't like paper bags. I have had a problem fitting some weird sized Lowes purchases into the reusable bags! If anyone is planning to vacation here BRING YOUR BAGS.

CVS was selling (think they still do) a little green card for 99 cents. you put on your cloth bag and they scan it everytime you use it instead of plastic. Every 4th time you use it you get an extrabuck
