Returns at the Disney Store

I made a purchase at the Disney Store for a cousin's son's birthday using a couple of different gift cards. My cousin has since informed me that her son no longer likes Cars and wants legos instead. I stupidly didn't keep all the gift cards I used, only the one left with a balance.

Does anyone know if they can put the full return amount back on the gift card I kept? I don't want to be out the money if it automatically goes back to the other cards! And I would also prefer not to be stuck with a credit I can only use at teh Disney Store. This was a good amount of money and I would like to be able to use it towards our Disney trip in September.

I'm pretty sure they will just issue a new giftcard in the amount if you ask.

Just make sure to make the return with the receipt, within 30 days. Otherwise you will definitely get a merchandise credit.

Yes, they were Disney gift cards to start with. I just want to make sure I end up with a Disney gift card again and not a credit that I can only use at the Disney store.
