Returning to Reception Location

I am planning on having my reception at the Grand Floridian and then a dessert party at MGM.

Does anyone know if you go to your desert party are you then allowed to return to the reception location to carry on the party?

I am having my reception at the GF the walking to Sago Cay Pointe for the DP, and then back to the GF for dancing until midnight. I wanted my reception to carry on past 10 so I just asked and they were very accommodating. You get the reception room for 5 hours and anything extra is $400 per hour. We get unitl 9pm for free and then we're paying an extra $1200, but you can probably keep the reception going for as long as you want. Just remember that as well as the extra room hire, you will need transport back to the GF as well
