Returning something you bought at WDW?

My brother in law purchased a phone case at WDW this last December. It is falling apart. He emailed the company of the phone case company at Disney World and no one has replied.

Does anyone know what to do? Should he go to the Disney store?

He does have the receipt!

I don't think he'll be able to do anything with it unless he's able to go back to WDW. Also with the virus situation I'm sure guest relations is probably pretty backed up so he might not get an email response back from someone for a while.
 
All he can do is call the number on the receipt and see what they say. DD bought a box of ornaments on our trip in December. Didn’t open the box until we got home. They were scratched up. She had her receipt and called them. She had to answer some questions, take some pictures, and after a few more emails, she was sent a mailing label and sent it back. Shortly after, her refund hit her card.
 

I would just throw out the phone case and not try to put up with the hassle of returning it.
 
Personal story: Sept. 2018, bought a cute drawstring backpack with an inside zippered pocket. One week after I left, the zipper broke. I still had the receipt and a return trip in December (I live in CA). Went to the same store, receipt and all, and also being an AP, and was told that they would neither refund nor exchange, the latter because although they showed some in stock, they couldn't be located. So I still have that cute backpack with its broken inside pouch.

That is sad! And not very good customer service!

He got a Mandalorian case and really likes it! I think he is sad that it is falling apart!

I will tell him about the number on the receipt. But...I guess WDW and DL are now closed :(
