Returning rental couple hours early?

Hi we only have the rental for one day and I would like to turn it in when we check in to the Hard Rock around 11 but for some reason I put 4pm on our rental. I don't want to have to pay for parking if I can avoid it. Anyone know if there's a penalty for turning it in early? TIA

You reserved a car for one day. Your renting the car for one day. Turning the car in early won't affect your rate. There is rarely a penalty for turning the car in a few hours early, under those circumstances.

You didn't mention the agency. I assume Hertz. Call the 800 number and ask. The person will say no problem. Write down the name, date and time. In the, very unlikely, event the agent says something just say you spoke to.....and you were told no problem and no reason to change your reservation.
