My family of 4 is going to Universal for 3 nights, then on to WDW for 4 nights, then on DCL for 7 nights. We want to rent a car at the airport and return it at WDW. I know that I can keep the rental until we reach the port, but we're meeting up with my parents at WDW and there won't be enough room for all of us to fit in the rental to get us to the port, so we're going to use DCL transportation. I also considered using a town car service from MCO to US and US to WDW, but we like to eat off property when we're at US.

OK, here's what I need to know...I see that we can rent from National and there is a return site somewhere on WDW property. If we return it on property will they drive my DH back to the hotel or are we on our own to get him back? Also, exactally where is the return site. I considered driving the rental back to MCO and taking ME to WDW, but that seems so time consuming compared to driving to WDW and returning the car there.

If someone can help me with my dilema or give me a better senario, I would greatly appreciate it!:worship:

You can return a car to the Car Care Center near MK and take their shuttle buses back to the resort. To get to the CCC drive towards MK, and head left I think after passing the toll plaza for. It is very easy to do.

to add to the PP, if you are returning the car at night, after the CCC closes (6pm?) you can also return to the dolphin's valet parking and it's been our experience that one is on one's own as far as getting back to their resort... what we have done in the past is hop on the next park bus to come to the dolphin and then switch to our resort bus from there... or a taxi!

Are you keeping your car right up until you leave? You could plan to return your car to the Dolphin on the morning you are going to either MGM or Epcot. You could all return it together, go to the park, then take WDW transportation back to your hotel when you're through. Just a thought. Where are you staying?

We're staying at the WL. I like the idea of keeping the car until the day we go to Epcot. That way we could plan on eating dinner at one of the resorts that we've never had a chance to visit. We usually try to stick to the monorail or park restaurants because it can take a long time to get from resort to resort. Thanks for all of your help.:goodvibes
