Returning my Baggalini

Not to highjack the thread, but I'm trying to find more information about the Overland Donner?

My twins are now potty trained, so I won't be bringing a diaper bag on our next trip (WHOO HOOO!). Will the Overland Donner hold a camera, sunscreen, two bottles of water, and a few snacks easily? I had the Baggalini, but my mother stole it since it fits her camcorder so well!

Thanks for any advice!

Overland Donner has a big storage pocket. I found the space equal to the baggalini when I compared the two. I recently ordered both but returned the baggalini only because of the strap. Love the Donner I am using it for an around town bag/ diaper bag for my 5 month old. Hope this helps.

We love our baggalini!!! WE found it to be very lightweight, and yet hold enough for a family of 5 for a day at the parks. We do use it as a shoulder bag. IMO everyone just has different tastes, but I just wanted to say we were happy.

I sent mine back a couple of days ago also!!! I just didn't like the way it looked if worn across the chest. I suppose thrown over one shoulder would be better but I wasn't crazy over it that way either so I figured I should just send it back. ;)

Whew, mine came today and I love it! The only thing it won't hold is our ponchos with the other stuff I have planned for it. So really not a big deal!

Have you tried a healthy back bag? They are made by Ameribag and available online or lots of places. I have used one for years since I tend to put everything in my purse and then hurt my shoulder slinging it around. They come in several sizes and colors, and fit over your shoulder. I just ordered a new one for my early May trip. I have used the medium and the small, and they have lots of inside and outside compartments. I have a small back pack from Wal-mart that I bought for our last trip that worked well also.

I have the healthy back pack and the baggalini. Both of them are worn with a strap across the chest. They both bother me and I wear both of them as shoulder bags or if I am wearing them across my chest I take it off for pictures. ;)

I just received my Baggallini yesterday. I got the a la carte bag, and I love it!! I have already loaded it with stuff and tried it out. I got the ripstop nylon so it is really lightweight and is perfect for the parks.

I just ordered a healthy back bag called Ameribag Tech. It looks a little sportier than the regular healthy back bag; I'm hoping DH won't mind carrying it. Has anyone tried one of these? I guess I'm being really picky and stressed about the bag issue. I hope this one will do the trick, 'cause I'm starting to drive myself a little crazy!

I will say that I do like the material the baggallini is made of. I'm seriously considering getting the urban backpack now and using that instead of the messenger bag. I can avoid 'parting of the decoltage' phenomena often caused by across the chest straps and save my shoulder at the same time.

I have to admit, the only way I will carry my Baggallini is over my shoulder. I like it for some things, but I'm rethinking now if I want to bring it to Disney.

I went ahead and ordered the Stowaway Healthy Back Bag from LL Bean to see if I like it any better (and it's supposed to be water-resistant so that'll help), so I'll let you know what this one's like when I get it this weekend. http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/st...ry=4520&cat4=2913&shop_method=pp&feat=4520-tn

I didn't look at usernames here, but any guys wear it, or would your husband wear it. I bought the beige one in hopes my dh will wear it. I've been using mine for about a month now. My only problem, it is hard to get into when you wear it, and I thought that was the point of the bagallini.

:rotfl2: Bag swap, love it! :lmao:

Count me in! I hate my lime green Baggalinni messenger bag!
I loved it when I bought it. The first time I carried it, I quickly changed my mind. I used it one day in San Antonio. It is now in a box in the closet.
I have done many a post about how I don't like this bag. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Overland "Donner" where can I find this bag and is it affordable? Sounds like you found a great alternative to a baggalini.

Thanks,
Linda

These Ameribags are great!

Several ladies in my office were talking about this bag so I decided to check it out and bought two from ebay! The first one was a size small in black and it was slightly used (but clean) and I go it for $20 including shipping. The second one was a size small orchid color which is so pretty, it was brand new and I paid $30 including shipping. Such a great deal and I took the bag to WDW and loved the convenience of it. It has tons of pockets, this is what I carried through the parks:

4x6 photo book with park attraction info from a member of these boards.
Pen
Lipbalm & mirror compact
Sanitizer towelettes & extra napkins
Medium size wallet
Sunglasses
Compact camera + extra batteries & smart card
Touring plans & park maps
Room keys for family
Water bottle
Longsleeve shirt (evenings for sitting in a/c)

You can wear this like a regular should bag or across your chest during wilder rides. They make excellent bags to travel with and my friends use them as every day handbags.

Before I order my baggalinni, a few of you had mentioned that you bought it and could not return it, if you are interested in selling it and shipping it to me, maybe we can work something out. Jsut get in touch with me.

REI, EMS, & Shoebuy are a few that carry the bag. About $50 almost same as baggalini...look for codes before ordering if you decide too.

I bought mine at Shoebuy.com. If you register with them, you can save 10% off your first order, then you can save an additional $10 with discount code save10. Or instead of the $10 with save10, you can save an additional 20% off with MARCH07. Not sure which ends up being a better deal. Either way, you can get 10% for being a first time customer.

Wish I would have seen this post. I just placed an order from eBags and used google checkout. If I canceled it, could I use the google checkout code on shoebuy?
