Hey all!

I was a frequent DIS board poster long ago. Back then we used to use green Mickeys as as a way to spot each other in the parks. Some of us would even decorate and exchange them when we saw each other in the parks. Do people still do this? I’ll be going soon, and still have some and didn’t know if I should bother bringing them with me.

Does anyone else remember this? :disrocks:

Welcome back! THe lime greem Mickey's were just a tad before my time, but I have heard of it. I don't think anybody does it anymore though. Then again, you never know. If I ever saw one in the park, I'd probably say hi to a fellow DISer.

Welcome back! Enjoy your epic return!!! Don’t let outside issues get in the way of your Disney experience. :stitch:

I remember people bringing them (not exchanging them), but I don't think anyone does that anymore. It has been replaced by using the internet to pre-plan meetups! There is a solos message board here where you can look for others who are going during the same time frame.

I remember those days. Green ribbon or Mickey from Home Depot I think? We used them on our cruises also and had a few great meets - before FB kicked off.

I have not paid any attention to it anymore. Have a great trip back!
