Returning Canadian Special 7 Day Pass

We are planning a trip to Disneyworld in March of this year, and are considering the Canadian Special 7 Day Pass. However with a deadline for use in May 02, we are worried if for some reason we had to cancel the trip. Are the vouchers refundable if you do cancel your trip? Can it be done by paying a service charge?

If not I think we may buy the regular 7 day pass. If cancelled, we could not reschedule another trip before May, due to work and school demands. It would be too much money to lose.

Has anybody tried to return the vouchers?

The vouchers are non-refundable. You may be able to purchase cancellation insurance to cover the cost of the vouchers, at the time of purchase. Check with your travel agent.

In 1999 I exchanged/upgraded the "Passes at Par". My son developed Chicken Pox 4 days before our scheduled departure (last 2 weeks of April). The Passes expired at the end of the month. We called Disney, sent them back and upgraded to the normal 7 day passes. We were a little stressed to say the least

We asked our travel agent how far in advance we had to order the tickets.She told us we could do it the week before and everything would be fine.I did not want to spend the money any sooner than I had to and if a better deal came along I wanted to be sure and get it.We just ordered and we arrive in Disney Feb3rdinkbounc

We are buying the passes in about 5 weeks. Last year, we bought the same passes and waited until three weeks before trip just in case we needed to cancel.

BTW: I was worried about my kids getting chicken pox for last year for April trip, so when exposure happened in March, I was thrilled! They both got chicken pox weeks before the trip. They both handled the chicken pox very very well and our trip was saved!
