returning call to MS about waitlist

If MS left me a message that a waitlist has come through and I have 24 hours to call back, once I make the call do they need an answer right there and then or do I still have 24 hours to respond? The reason I ask is I have a few options I waitlisted that I may not be interested in until I speak to family members that may be joining us. Thanks.

It sounds like your waitlist has come thru and you have 24 hours (from their call to you) to accept or decline the reservation. If they don't hear from you in that timeframe the reservation will be offered to the next person on the list.
