We've been back from our 8 night stay at All Star Movies (10/2-10/4) and Beach Club (10/5-10/10) for about a week. This is the first opportunity I've had to post since our return.
All Star Movies was crowded Sat. & Sun. The Fantasia pool had lots of people swimming in it on these two days. We were in the Fantasia 5 building - our room overlooked one of the Love Bug buildings. There were alot of people checking in when we arrived but they kept brining out more cast members. We waited about 10 minutes which was great. No problems with our stay. The room was always kept clean and we had no problems with transportation. The resort cleared out on Sunday and was much less crowded on Monday. We walked over to Sports and Music on Sunday and both resorts were empty.
We left Movies at about 8:00 am on 10/5 and went over to the BC and left our luggage in storage. We went over to AK for the morning and went back to BC about 2:00 PM to check-in. Our room was ready, #2567. We did not realize it but this was the same room we stayed in during our last stay there in 12/02. The tree which blocked the view of Crescent Lake had either been removed or trimmed. We did not like this room on our last stay becasue there was not much of a view of "water". However the room now has a great view of the lake and marina, also has a large balcony. It is also near the quiet pool and near the world showcase entrance to Epcot. It was a long walk from the lobby.
At the BC, they have removed the mini-bar from the rooms. You are now able to use the refrigerator which is located in the armoire (which was part of the mini-bar). Very convenient!
The BC was not very crowded until Friday (10/8). By the afternoon, the line for check-in was almost to the main entrance. Sat. morning was a zoo in the lobby with many, many people. Most were buying breakfast at Rip Tide. Stromalong Bay on Sat. afternoon (10/9) was also a zoo. It was very difficult to find a lounge chair or any chair! They were checking for Resort ID's at the pool entrance.
Never saw Art the greeter during our five stay at the BC. We always enjoy talking with him.
Will try to post a more detailed report later. If anyone has questions, please ask!

. I was a neighbour at the BWI. I'm glad you had a great time! The BC is one of my favourite hotels
