Did your son feel sick on the cruise ship? My son will be 8 when we go and I was wondering if he needs seasickness meds. He was fine on the 3day Bahamian cruise last nov. but just curious.

Also, did anyone feel sick after the cruise? I wore the patch on the 3day was but wondering if I would experience any sickness after being on the 7 day.

what did you do for towels on your St Maartin excursion? Did DCL hand towels out as you were leaving even though you weren't on one of their excursions?

Lots of them as you get off ship. Then you return them right outside the ship when you get back on

Kids had absolutely no complaints on the ship, and they have to have medicine if in the car for a while. Only issue was on sailboat in Sint Maarten

I felt a little weird after the cruise for about 1/2 day.

Great question. It just seemed that we were always doing something( or happily nothing) during that time. I think we would have gone after dinner if we had the first setting time, but with the late seating we also wanted time to shower and get nicely dressed before dinner. This is exactly when we could have seen shows.

I asked specifically for this at Guest Services and was told it did not exist for this ship. They said they only had them on the classic ships.

we went back to Skyline Bar -- bought the special that gets you a drink from each city and the really cool book that is stamped after each drink.

this sounds interesting could you give more details like cost and how many drinks etc.?

I just know DH will LOVE Remy and insist on doing again in the future. Thank you for the push over the edge.

My memory is that each drink is about $12 but the book gives you 6 for $59 or so. We knew we would use it and got a cool keepsake.

There is a drink from Athens that looks bizarre on paper. Starts with muddled thyme, rosemary, mint and some coriander and other stuff. Just get it. Best drink I have ever had. Also one from st petersburg with paprika on the rim. So good

And we loved the champagne bar at ohh la la

Glad I could help. Highly recommend the tasting menus. The one from the French chef is very simple yet amazing. The American chef's dishes are very complex with lots of things layered together. This is how our waiter described it all and convinced us to each get one of them and compare. Really fun

I do not like mushrooms so they replaced one dish with anything I wanted from the menu. Lobster of course.
