Return to the Scene of the Crime: The Lurkyloos’ First Anniversary at WDW! New VIDEO!

I was just coming on here to say that I couldn't believe Carrie wasn't interested in the Nemo show! It is climbing the list of my VERY FAVORITE things in any of the parks. I am a huge AK fan, and Nemo just seals the deal. It's so awesome! And I'm totally a little star-struck to "talk" to a CM of the show on here....:flower3:

And Carrie... tell your man that the puppets were designed at built by Michael Curry - I guess he's pretty famous in the puppet world. They're all mechanical puppets (except obviously for the moonfish). I puppeteer Deb (in photo), Tad (one of the kids) and the giant turtle Crush (which is a pain in my behind!).

I'm so enjoying your TR, Thank you :) Now continue on....:surfweb:

What a wonderful day with all the surprises. Especially the Attic. I'd love to have seen the look on your face!

Twiu - That is so cool. Dh and I love that show. I was surprised DH did because he isn't a Disney show kinda person. He ususally just goes for me. :rotfl:

Twiu: That is super cool!

Carrie: Um, it's Saturday, shouldn't you be devoting the day to writing your TR? We all want to hear about the DP! :rotfl:

That is so awesome Twiu! Last time I was at WDW, the AK hadn't opened yet. I'm so excited about the Nemo show, as it's my favorite Pixar movie!

Well, we are going to have to print your picture and look for you on Mon. 3/23 when we are there!!! Both sons love Nemo, and now I can say I know someone in the show.....see you then.

Sorry Carrie to steal into your review....keep going.

Carrie - I love your updates. I was laughing my a-- off when I was reading your Segway story. The man wiping out after hitting the floral potter was too much for me. What a visual! :rotfl2:

I also love the surprise you received at the Attic! One, no two, words.... Priceless and Magical! :wizard:

BTW - I am really sick now. Got some horrendous virus from my son, but your TR makes me feel a bit better. Except it really hurts my throat to laugh!

Not to hijack this TR, but I LOVE the Nemo show. It's so unique. Now I have to ask, and I will understand if you won't tell me, but do you guys sing live or is that a soundtrack?! If you are singing live, then I am even more impressed with this show cause I can't figure out how that is possible!

sorry Carrie! I feel like I've totally hijacked your TR. And I only work there on call.. which means, once every maybe 3 months, so don't get too excited!

And yes.. we do sing live! It's tough sometimes, running around with costume changes and puppeteering.. but yes. Its live. There are some parts where there's an underlying track, just to make the sound bigger - but we're still singing. Most of it is live though. 99% of it :) It's tough, but it's possible.

Now back to Carrie's regularly scheduled TR that I don't want to ever end!

you could use the Root's pictures of Princess Carrie!:bride:
:rotfl: That's right! Roots pics are great for any theme!!

Ok, i know it was like 2 updates ago but I love the little white ponies pulling the coach. They are too cute!! And, that was an amazing morning you guys had.

Yeah, we're bad thread hijackers! That Nemo show was pretty cool tho. The puppets were great. How much rehearsal did you guys do?

Okay, I'll stop...I'll just twiddle my thumbs and wait for Lurkyloo to come back and update us. It does seem cruel that she left us hanging on the dessert party.

I hope her weekend was super-fab tho!

Thread hijacking is a good thing: it keeps this tr on the first page which makes it easier for all of us to find. :thumbsup2

I too experience the same thing with DH and surprises. He is okay with them, but in reality I'm the one that enjoys them the most and he can never seem to pull one off! :rotfl:

I did the same silly play by play on our anniversary even though we were actually at home that day and when we visited the World Showcase several weeks before we recreated several of our wedding pictures too. Somehow the one of you and DH in the arch at Morocco with the helmets on doesn't have the same effect. We were scheduled to do the segway tour on our anniversary trip before we had to shorten the length of our stay. After seeing your experience it definitely makes me want to do it some time for another anniversary!

Okay, the surprise at the Attic was awesome and I must admit I am a twinge jealous! I tried to get them to do something special at the Coral Reef since we had our reception at LSS and I couldn't even get anyone to return my call! :headache:

I know how you feel....I had to keep repeating to myself, "thou shall not covet" It is Lent after all. :thumbsup2
