Return Times for ILL For ROTR

Hey there- first time using the ILL. When we go to purchase, are there options for return times? Or is it luck of the draw or like a regular LL return time posted? Wanting to know if we have some control over the timing to make sure we make reservations etc.

It’s like a regular LL, whatever’s available. However, whenever we buy an ILL (before around 2/3), the return time is almost always instant, at least for MMRR and RSR! I don’t know if someone else can speak to this but I’ve also heard of the cm at the front honoring an ILL at all times of the day, but that hasn’t happened to us apart from the ride breaking down and we’re allowed to use it when we please.

You have control in the sense you can buy for your preferred time once the return window advances to that time. But you can’t just pick any time you want first thing in the morning. So when I wanted to ride around 11, I watched the window and bought when the return time advanced to 11-12 window.

Is choosing times for ILL's different at DLR than WDW? I thought you could just pick any time you wanted as long as it was later than the earliest available time. Like if the earliest return time was 11am, you could still scroll through and pick 1pm if you wanted.

I’ve never seen that at DLR; just, here’s the available time slot, buy it if you want. If I’ve been missing something, I hope someone comes along to contradict me!

That's a bummer. So many differences from WDW vs DLR when it comes to this stuff, I need to rethink some of my itinerary then.
