Return of the BWV webcam!

It's time again for the semi-annual presentation of the BWV webcam! For you newbies, this means DH and I are taking our twice yearly trip to BWV in a Boardwalk View room. We always set up a webcam so you folks at home can enjoy the view, too! While my countdown shows I leave tomorrow, we won't be checking in to BWV until Saturday, and I don't know if we'll have our room before we go over to MGM. It could be late Saturday night before it's set up, but sometime this Saturday, watch for the debut of the BWVcam! I'll leave it up until we check out Friday morning.

DH and I both just said last night - lets go on vacation (again) we miss WDW and boardwalk area is one of our faves. Thanks so much. You have given us our little fix w/o having to figure out HOW we were really going to go...we will love it.

phorsenuf - It's pretty typical high speed internet like at most hotels. Costs $10 a day and you plug into the wall. We take a compact wireless router so that DH and I can both have computers up, and since we're paying for it anyway, I just run my iSight out the balcony view and hook up the webcam! (We're here at the Hilton at Downtown Disney until DH's conference is over, moving to BWV on Saturday.)

Oh cool, thanks! My DH is going to bring his laptop (wireless) so we can email the kids and such while we are there. We've never gone before without the kids so this will be a new experience for us. It'll be nice to be able to send them pictures.

OMG... I am leaving tommorrow morning minus my kids and husband to help my mom move down to Florida. I am driving my dads car while he drives the moving truck and my mom drives her car. We will arrive late on Sunday night and then I fly home on Tuesday night. It would be so cool if I knew where your cam was so I could go there and wave to my kids.
