I don't know if these are silly questions or not but: can your hand stamp that you get when you leave DL wash off from swimming/showering etc?
I'll be there during a time when they might stop letting people in so I've been told to make sure we get our hand stamps when we leave for an afternoon pool break. But what if it washes off?
Also can DH just walk through the gates, hand me his ticket and then turn around, get his hand stamped and walk out?
I want to collect FPs during the day for when we are all together in the evening because he won't be able to be in the park until later.
Thanks for the help yet again.

I don't have an expert answer for the first question, but I can help you out with the second! He can come in the park, give you his ticket to get fast passes and then turn around and leave, but he needs his ticket AND hand stamp to get back in. So, he couldn't meet you in the park but you could meet him out front and then re-enter.

Hope that helps!

We have found that the stamps hold up to swimming and basic showering. Try not to use a lot of soap on your hand. We have also found that hand sanitizer will "erase" the hand stamp, so be careful of that!

We were there earlier this week, it was not busy by any means, but they did not even check our handstamps coming back in. They scanned our cards, they made the "oopsy" noise and that was it... :confused3

It won't wash of from swimming or showering unless you really work at removing it. I've stayed in the pool for HOURS & it didn't come off.

Hand sanitizer will definitely remove the stamps, though...thankfully, I discovered this after I had my AP (I get a stamp anyways when I leave the Park for a swim break...what can I say? It reminds me of going to Disneyland when I was a kid )

Thanks every one. I got my questions answered perfectly. I' m really glad you guys told me about the hand sanitizer thing because we do use it now and then.

Spacemermaid, we always took a pool break when I was a kid too. I saw your review on Stovall's and that is where we stayed twice when I was a kid. It was all "Space Age" back then and I thought those door knobs were the coolest!

The Stovall's hotels were so cool when they were still "space" themed; glad someone else remembers them as they used to be  That's where my family would stay on our trips to the Park when I was little, too!
