Return carts-no reciept?

We had my extended family Christmas over the weekend. I had given a list of carts I wanted, but to them I guess a cart is a cart. I got 2. One I have already and 1 I really don't have a use for. Is there a store (Michaels, AcMoore, Joann?) that will exchange them for carts I do want without a receipt?

I would imagine that any of the stores you mentioned would do an even exchange for another cart. You MIGHT want to wait until after Christmas. They may be a little bit more lenient then (although the lines for returns will be much longer)..................P

You might not be able to do an even exchange. I read on another message board that people were having trouble and had to pay the difference. Call your stores ahead of time to see what their policy is.

I recently returned something in AC moore without the receipt and their policy was to automatically take 20% off the price.

Bad news I am afraid... if you go to Michael's, they will only give you $29.99 for them, as that was the Thanksgiving eve special and I think a ton of people tried to return them without a receipt or they got smart to it before hand as they have a sign posted at the registers with the policy, no receipt, you get xxx. On another board a lady took back a cart to Joannes without a receipt and they took the cart and told her they would mail her a check, but she has yet to get it and it has been over 3 months now, so this before the holidays even. And, another lady tried to take a cart back there and they told her it was stolen if she did not have a receipt, so be careful there as well. Now, Hobby Lobby, they might be easiser to deal with, since they don't keep track of inventory like the other stores do, but I think they will only give you the sales price.

You might even try WalMart. I have returned and exchanged things without a receipt before. I exchanged a mixer that quit working, and I didn't even have the box anymore. They exchanged it with no problem.
