Is anybody on the disboard old enough to remember the Wainwright's package days. You bought these packages thru a travel agent. You gathered together at an obsure airline terminal. They wrote the name of the airline on a blank piece of paper and taped it to the door. The flights were cheap and the jet was filled. You were hearded together for check in, moooded together on the jet, stampeaded together in the rent a car line then BANG...in the car and zoom you were set loose on Florida for a week. Then back in the check in line, and more jet moooing the following Saturday. There was just MK and EPCOT back then so you could see everything at Disney pretty quickly. Oh yeah, and everybody got a white chevy cavalier to drive to Disney, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, Daytona Beach, and home sweet home the Day's Inn. Couldn't afford to stay on site back then. There was only CR & Poly in those days and they were not affordable to the common person. Almost had to have a trust fund to place a reservation.
Thank God those days are gone!!
