Retrieving deleted emails?

Anyone have any idea how I can retrive deleted emails that are not in my trash.

All my other deleted email's are in trash except this one, i need it so i can form a complaint, typical eh!

I'm with Gmail if that helps.

I always thought that once emails were deleted from trash they were gone forever.

Hopefully someone will come along who knows more than me (not difficult LOL) and say differently.

Thats what i thought but after looking in my trash all my deleted emails have gone there, except the one i desperatly need.

Sorry, I reworded my post because I meant to say once they were deleted from trash. Are you sure its not still in your trash but maybe not in date order?

I have looked, all the other ones that i need are there except the most important one!

Maybe this is a sign?
