My husband & I are planning our first trip to Disney World in March, I've seen several sites offering discounted park tickets for active duty military, does anyone know if there is any discounts available to retired military veterans. He served in the USCG for 21 yrs.

You can purchase tickets at the SOG - my husband is retired AF - we are staying at the SOG in two weeks - and have had several trips there both as active duty and as retired. Take a look at their web site... www.shadesofgreen.org - you will find it very helpful. Depending on what your husbands rank was when he retired determines how much you would pay for the rooms at the SOG but the ticket prices are the same no matter if you are active duty or retired. We always buy our tickets there... even our annual passes. It is a wonderful resort. We love to stay there because my DH and DS like to golf. My DD loves the pools and the hot tub. We have even watched the MK fireworks from the hot tub!!! If you have any questions about the SOG let me know.
