We were supposed to have dinner at rose & crown on our last night...but..its our last night and I want to end it on a fun note, kwim? We'll be at Epcot in the evening for illuminations on our last night. What are your suggestions?

We have eaten in Germany which is always great funwith their show. Mexico is a nice change of pace too- and their riverboat ride is right there as well. What about the Garden Grill?

The Marakesh restaurant is a fun place. They have a belly dancer entertain during dinner and some local music. I also enjoy Chefs du France, but for a really memorable last night dinner the Bistro above Chefs is very nice. The rose and crown has great views of Illluminations, but so do most areas around the lake. Have fun.

Thanks for the great ideas. What would you recommend if you were to go to one of the resorts outside of epcot? Or on the monorail? We are already doing Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare...

On monorail at Poly Resort and great food. :goodvibes ::MickeyMo :flower:

We went to Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge on our last night, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. It was a lot of fun and the food was really good. My sons, 8 & 5, asked to go back on our next trip.

We are doing this on our first night!

HOW good a meal do you want? :Pinkbounc

It's pricey, butn the best meal on property, IMHO, is to be had at California Grill, top of the Contemporary.

I'd love to try this, but we will only have one TS left that night. I'm thinking I might do O'hanas. I had booked it before and one of my friends talked me out of it, but I think my daughter would enjoy it.

We haven't been to OHana's yet, looking forward to it in December!

If you eat at Rose and Crown in the evening for the night show, do you need to request a special area to sit to be able to see it good? One other thing I am curious about is how is this resturant for kids? boys 6 and 10? Thanks ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

We usually eat at Rose & Crown to see Illuminations. I usually make my PS for 7:30 and then arrive about 30 minutes early and request an outside table on the patio. We have gotten an outside table twice and inside twice. On the patio, you can watch the show from your table. However, if you are inside, they allow you to come outside and stand to watch the show, and they just ask that you not block the view of the tables. Have had no problem seeing the show either way. Nice not having to find and lay claim to a place to watch the show from early.

We have taken our 2 sons here 3 times, and they are now 5 & 8, and they enjoy it as well. They have a childrens menu like all WDW restaraunts.

we love to snack around the world...we eat a big lunch at le celllier then split what ever sounds good at each fw cs for an "evening repast" :)
