rethinking O'hana because of transportation

We have an 8:30 pm reservation at O'hana on Tuesday February 5th. We are staying at POFQ. We will take the bus to the MK and then the Monorail to the Poly. Just sitting here thinking......how do we get back? The MK closes at 9pm and buses stop at 10pm. Will 9 of us be finished with dinner in time to get back to the MK and on a bus to POFQ? Is there a bus from TTC to POFQ? If we can not get back I think I may cancel. We will have 2 young children with us and really do not want to spend the time taking a bus to DTD and then back to POFQ.

Disney really does need to do something else with these late dinner reservations. I tried to get an earlier reservation and have been checking everyday since the 180 mark and I get nothing. We really love O'hana but the transportation issue might keep us from dining here and at other resorts.

You are starting dinner at 8:30 (that could even be delayed if there is a wait) with 2 young children and then have to get transportation back to the hotel? That seems like way too late to start dinner. It would be different if it was adults only. I think it will not work well. I would cancel.

You can always get cabs at Poly. to go back to POFQ. There are no buses from TTC to the resorts. (at least on our last trip)

The kids are "night crawlers" and this is our day off from the parks so a late nap is likely.

There's no need to cancel. You can get easily back to POFQ with free Disney transportation.

After dinner, take a bus from Poly to Downtown Disney.

From Downtown Disney, take a boat or bus to POFQ.

I'd either drive or take a cab.

Taking a bus to DTD and then a bus or boat back to POFQ is going to take a LONG time and it'll likely be pretty late by then. I wouldn't do that myself, let alone with kids.

Depends on how quickly you want/need to get back to PO. You could take a bus to DTD and either the boat or a bus back to PO. Or, you could find a park that is still open and head there and transfer. You may get lucky and be able to get a bus back from MK. Take the boat over there and see if the buses are still running.
Or, you can take a cab. I have found that the last few times I have asked to have a cab called, the valet people have just sent me along in a WDW white van!!! I then tip them pretty well...probably about half what the cab would have cost me. Doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen.
