I bought a pink Steeler number jersey a week ago. It was on sale, I seen the policy which said no returns , exchange only on sale merchandise. I asked could I bring it back if it doesn't fit. Yea he says. (young clerk, only 1 there)
Fast forward, shirt doesn't fit. I want to get a black or white number jersey. Of course none in my size. I go to the cash register the clerk says no refund. I argue, say I was told it could be exchanged for another size. She says yea of the same shirt. Huh? He didn't tell me that. So the owner comes over because of course the store is packed and I'm argueing. He says thats my policy. I said, but you have no more shirts in my size and no more to come in , he told me. I ask for a store credit. NO! Then he tells me in not those words, I'm SOL . I'm mad but leave.
Then I thought no way. $35.00 its not fair. Its not my fault they don't have my size and its not like I bought the shirt 1 month ago, it was a week. I go back talk to the guy again. He had an answer for everything but I kept up. Finally he takes the bag from my hand throws it over the counter, goes in his pocket and pulls out a wad of bills about 4 inches thick. NO LIE!!!! He asked me for a $5.00 bill because he obviously had all 20's. Gave me the 2 20's and said, for future reference remember I don't take returns on sale merchandise. I said don't worry I won't be back.. Was I wrong?
I got the white no 7 at Champs, BTW!
