Results of complaint to VMK about Maze Fiasco

Just to keep everyone updated, let's see if we have any success stories of people who were unable to complete the maze(s) and complained, and see if they recieved anything.

Here's my letter to VMK and their response following:

ME:

I know you have heard it 47 million times, but can the people (like
me) who spent all weekend attemping the mazes and getting repeatedly
disconnected, please please get the prizes? I got to the end of difficult
and was disconnected before I barely saw the room. I made it almost to
the end of the other two. I think the people who persevered despite
the crashing issues deserve the prize more than someone who just gets
thru the maze...we are tired, we are frustrated, we are bored with waiting
in line, and we were looking forward to this event all week! I know, I
have no life, but come on. Pretty please with a cherry on top?

P.S. Despite the irritation of this, it was very true to an actual
Disney park. You wait in line for an hour, and when you are next the ride
breaks down! Very realistic! LOL.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing to us about our recent Maze Event. We're sorry you
didn't manage to complete the maze - please tell us which level(s) you
were trying and we'll see what we can do. :)

I wonder if they even read all the "maze complaint" mails. They probably see what it's about and then send a standard reply. I stated in my message which levels I tried.

Well people had formed on main street and yelled about the maze. The kept calling them. Well though i did form on the street with them but i didn't call them and start say down with vmk and staff sock. It was starting to get bad so i left. i think they do need to plan a bit more about there events before they throw them. They need to think about everything about everything, like the boots and other factors.
 
UPDATE:

After my reply telling them the specifics of my maze adventures, I received this "standard" reply:

Thank you for your email.

We have closed your original help request, because we felt that our
last email to you answered your question. If you need more help, please
use the VMK Help Tool again and we will get back to you as soon as we
can.

I am going to hope that means next time I go on I have a Master Gracey pin and a Candy Cauldron!

That's the standard response if you hit reply on your email. You have to enter a whole new long contact again. I got the same email about please tell us what levels. I sent a new response in yesterday but haven't heard anything back yet.
 

I sent a complaint through "Contact Us" in the middle of the event on Sunday telling them that I kept getting disconnected in the Difficult maze. By the end of the day, I found a maze end room with VMK_Phinny in it. It took me about 30 minutes, but she finally recorded my name for disconnecting in medium and difficult. Teusday I had the Master Garcie pin and Candy Cauldron in my inventory. Last night, I got a reply from the black hole that stated they were sorry I had connection issues and they awarded me the prize for my troubles. I signed on and found a second candy cauldron in my inventory which I promptly traded to my DS. I was very mad at VMK during the event, but I felt better when I received the awards. I only hope others out there get the same satisfaction.
 
I sent and email for both myself and BurritoBaby...no reply.

I spoke to VMK staff and they put me on the list, or forwarded my info, or whatever they do and I have since recived both the cauldron and the pin. BurritoBaby too!
