Resturant Marakesh opions please

have just book a ADR at RM as my other choices were unavailble.
Has anyone been? what did you think?

any advice would be great, as not too sure!

I have eaten here a few times. It has been a few years since but I always liked it. It's not overly spiced or outrageous so I think even non adventurous eaters would like it. The dancers are lots of fun and kids are usually brought in to dance ( at least they were each time I was there). I wanted to go back but DD made a face so we got leCellier instead this trip.

This is our least favorite restaurant in Disney. The atmosphere is lovely and very entertaining but the food was mediocre.

We ate there in Sept last year. The entertainment was great but did not care for the food. I ordered lamb leg and some other things. My DH had something else I can't remember. His was good but not as good as other meals we ate. I did not like the lamb at all. If you like lamb you will probably enjoy eating there. The desert was good but again not great. We enjoyed the CS there better. I'm sorry I hope I dont take your magic away. You will definitely enjoy your meal not matter what.

Went last summer and it was my DH's favorite, I don't recall what DH ordered but he does not like stuff too spiced.

I had the Bastilla and the shell was a bit harder than one's I have tried at other Moroccan places here at home. The flavors were pretty mild whereas I prefer it more spiced up.

Let me start by saying Morroco's CS is my favorite in all of WDW.

So I figured we'd love the TS too.

Nope, we didn't

Our server was terrible she disappeared for long jags of time

The food was ok, but I like the food out at the CS better.

And the bellydancer everybody talks about? At my meal, she came out did one song and that was it. People talk about her dancing with the kids and stuff. Not at my dinner. She did one song and was gone.

Big dissapointment (ten years ago). The food was bland and mediocre. The service was slow, and the air conditioner was dripping water on our table. There were lots of empty tables, but we had to argue with the waiter to be moved to a dryer table! Overall, our worst dining experience at Disney.

The Marakesh is one of our favorites! Absolutely delicious! I would recommed the appetizer platter as your main meal. My mother did this the last time we went and man I wish I had followed suit, but at least she shared so I got to sample everything. Two people can definitely share this platter and you get to sample everything on the menu. Absolutely delicious and filling! The chicken was a little bit dry the last time we went, but still really good.

This was our least favorite meal on our 2005 trip (we did not repeat it this year).

When we went, we had a 6:00 p.m. ADR and the restaurant was virtually empty. I server was nice and the belly dancer was entertaining, but the food was so-so and the kid's hamburger that my son ordered was downright nasty.

Our teens split a plate of chicken kebobs which were fine, but none of it was what I would call "delicious." We all left out of there feeling very underwhelmed.

I love food from that region, but I have a feeling that I may be disappointed.

Can someone give a little more info on the CS at Morocco? I didn't see a menu listed at allears. I didn't even know they had one.

That would probably be something I'd enjoy more than dinner, and while we reserved Marrakesh one night for my family, my friend reserved us all seats at Coral Reef just in case we changed our mind.

Least favorite restaurant at World Showcase. Belly dancer came out for one song, hardly any live music, no kids got up to dance, they got a party of adults up to dance. Food over-priced for what you get(I second the dry chicken comment), "entertainment" was "eh". Not worth it (IMO).

The Morocco CS is better, but the last time we ate there...they now only put five slightly-puny meatballs on the meatball platter & it was (I think) almost $10. Not the best deal in WS anymore.

For TS in the World Showcase, we like Chefs de France(especially at lunch & with our DDE discount!).

For CS we like that place in Japan.

I agree! This was my first year trying the Yakitori House and I thought it was good and different. I particularly like the Udon soup.

My husband is not an adventurous eater and he did not like Marakesh at all so we won't be going there again.
