Ok - I keep hearing that be careful when you send your kids into the restoom themselves at WDW because *many* restrooms have multiple entrances/exits. I've been to WDW about a dozen times and I can't think of a single one that has more than one entrance/exit.

I don't count the restroom off the walkway between Adventuraland and Frontierland at the MK because the restroom itself only has one entrance/exit to the walkway. The walkway will take you to either Adventureland or Frontierland but that's the walkway and not the restroom.

Are there any restrooms at WDW that truly have multiple entrances/exits?

I know there are tons of restrooms that have a split entrance and exit, the one that comes to mind is the restroom next to Space Mountain, you can enter and exit from the right and left

Yes, I recall several washrooms that have had two main doors. I can see how one might forget which one they entered and go out the other one.

The one to be concerned about is in AK at the pizzafari. The restrooms have an entrance inside the building as well as one that goes to the outside. I am not aware of any others like this except for the millenium village building.

The restrooms at the Pizzafari Restaurant in DAK have 2 sets of doors...
OUTSIDE (open to the sidewalk) and INSIDE (open into the restaurant foyer.)

.

Are the doors right next to each other or are they in completely different places?

AH HA!!! This is what I'm looking for. Are there any others like this?

I'm thinking the restroom as you come out of Splash Mtn has two doors, but I may be mistaken. It's a bigger one and does have the center sink area which may be confusing to some.

If you go into World Showplace (the former Millennium Village) the restrooms (both Men and Women) each have one door inside the buiolding and one door outside the building.

AGREE. Of all the things to capture, how did someone come up with this plan?

:wave2: Hello, I am the weirdo who came up with this plan ;)

Actually, it started out many many years ago before there were a billion Disney pages on the internet, I came across a site called Thrones of the Kingdom. This site listed and rated all the of the bathrooms at Disneyland.

I have always been interested in different bathrooms whenever I travel, I know...I'm weird, but I've seen some pretty cool unique ones! ::yes::

I'm also a huge Disney nut so I put those two things together, along with my love for photography and decided to make a slideshow of Disney bathrooms.

Ya gotta have a little sense of humour here people ;) It's just something for Disney nuts (like me!) to enjoy while passing the time away until their next trip to WDW :thumbsup2

Plus I have Lupus and have don't have the greatest immune system and I've spent a lot of time in those washrooms. Some are better than others and if you are really into planning, you can figure which ones are suited for your particular needs.

I've had tons of emails from people all over the world thanking me because their kids/husband/relative have certain needs and seeing the bathrooms on my site have really helped them.

So hey, it's entertaining and helpful :thumbsup2

BTW, lfontaine emailed me and asked me this question and just for your information, in case anyone else is wondering the same thing...here was my response...

Yes, Pizzafari has two entrances as do the bathrooms in Fantasmic and the ones right near Light Motors Action. I am also thinking that the Splash Mountain ones might have two entrances but I am not 100% sure. Then there are three bathrooms that I can think of that have only one exit door but two entrance ways into the bathroom area. First one is the one you mentioned in MK and then there is the one shared by the ABC commissary and Sci-Fi Dine In at DHS and finally the ones in AK at the rear of Restaurantosarus.

Hopefully that helps!

Oh and just so you know...my bathrooms page is the most popular page on my website with an average of 5000+ hits per month LOL! :lmao:

Well, first - thanks, Timon!

You know what's interesting? The Unofficial Guide has been printing this warning for years. Somewhere around here I have the 1993 or 1994 edition (published the year before in whichever case), and I'm sure it's in that edition - even though most of the places Timon mentions didn't even exist fifteen years ago!

the vast majority of bathrooms only have one exit.....

By the way TIMON.. i LOVE your site!!! Its fab! it makes you realise how diverse the decor is in the bathrooms.. and I love the AK ones. !

Just to be non-combative, I didn't say you were weird, I just said I was amazed somone took the time to photograph every single one of them. And I have to admit, I made the hits on your website go up by 3 or 4 because after I looked at them, I passed the site on to a few other people! :rotfl:

Oh that's ok...I AM weird LOL!! :rotfl2: I am the first to admit that taking pictures of the bathrooms is weird, if not a little strange.:rolleyes1 But it was something that no one has ever touched on before so I thought it was unique

I am missing a few bathrooms though, maybe next year when we go I can get the missing ones ;)

Because they knew someone would need to know about them. ;)
