Restricted Rooms - will they come back?

Hi, I looked to book the European cruise from Copenhagen on 1st August. Last week there were restricted rooms available at £2k less for an Oceanview room. When I went to book at the weekend the option for restricted rooms was not available - disaster! There seems to be lots of availability still for these rooms via full price - as the cruise is only 6 weeks away, what is the likelihood of restricted bookings being made available again. TIA Nicola

On our May 20 cruise OGT rates disappeared at some point and did come back. So, there is hope. But the many rooms available mid no indicator that the ship isn’t pretty full already. On our cruise there were loads of staterooms open until they started assigning staterooms for people with restricted rates and then only a handful staterooms were still open.

I would not give up hope yet, but keep checking daily and jump as you see a restricted rate come back.

I think they may take them offline when they are getting close to assigning rooms. They might pop back on once the bulk of the rooms are assigned and they figure out what they have remaining and who they can take in which stateroom configs. For example, they may assign rooms and then find that they are "sold out" of any more verandahs for 5, for example. But until they start divvying people up, they don't really know what they do and don't have.
