Hi, i just found out that i am restricted rehire because i missed my last day of my CP due to illness. I applied for fall 2012 and they never mentioned it during the interview. I just emailed my manager about my status to confirm if i really was restricted.

I'm not sure what to do now. Do i have to submit paperwork or something? Is it true i wont be able to go back into the same line of work if i do another program?

Doesn't sound like they are going to enforce it sometimes they overlook it for whatever reason depending on the case. They almost always mention you're a restricted rehire and need to fill out the rehire paperwork which will be emailed to you. But if they didn't say anything I would leave it alone and wait for an email personally.

If they do send you the paper work it basically asks how you have changed from the time of you rehire. What you've been doing and I've heard they like to see that you've been working at one place for 6 months. But seeing as how I've only applied once and was denied because I had to wait 6 months after the date I left and 6 months hadn't passed yet. I have no idea what comes after the paper work! Best of luck to you!

Should i respond to my managers email and ask if i have paperwork to fill out?

If you have to fill out paper work the recruiting office will send it to you. I don't think your manager has anything to do with it directly.

Thats why the recruiting office may not even enforce your restricted status. If you wanted a definite answer you should contact the recruiting office instead of your manager.

Well, i called casting and they referred me to my manager. I'll call recruiting though. Thank you.

Edit: Wait, is casting and recruiting the same thing? I called the number from my pending email.

I believe the number is 4078281000 then you listen for the touch tone option for CP.
