Restraining order question (long) (update #41)

Here is the update for anyone interested. My neighbor is letting her crazy husband move back to the house. She says they are not going to be together but he has nowhere to go. He promises to change. I realize there is nothing much I can do but I really wish I could. We put alarms on our window and doors and extra locks just in case. I really don't think crazy is mad at us but I rather be safe then sorry. My neighbor will not be in our house anymore until her problems with her husband are resolved which I doubt will ever happen. I haven't gone to get the restraining order yet but now that he will be living there I will have to stop procrastinating and look into it. Thanks for listening!

Unfortunately this is the cycle of abuse. The abusive man drives all the woman's friends away until she feels alone, and is, in effect.

I'd call DCF for the kids. The more people you can get going into that home and seeing what's going on, the better. I'd keep the police informed. I'd get arestraining order.
